Summary
Property Manager / Housing Manager with previous experience in a property management, as well as problem-solving for residents and understanding their needs is required to join a well-established company based in Oxford, Oxfordshire.

WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Property Manager / Housing Manager with previous experience in a property management, as well as problem-solving for residents and understanding their needs.
Working as the Property Manager / Housing Manager you will be responsible for the delivery of an efficient, customer-focused housing management service within student accommodation.
As the Property Manager you will carry out and monitor regular property and estate inspections and ensure accurate records are maintained and actions are taken to deal with issues.
DUTIES
Your duties as a Property Manager / Housing Manager will include:
• Manage the allocation, letting and void management process for all properties in line with the Group’s policies and procedures
• Carry out and monitor regular property and estate inspections and ensure accurate records are maintained and actions are taken to deal with issues
• Manage tenancies in accordance with policies, procedures and targets
• Ensure that tenancy management objectives and key performance indicators are achieved
• Be the point of contact to resolve and investigate complaints by residents and provide advice and guidance
• Ensure that IT systems are regularly updated and effective manual records are maintained.
• Build relationships and work with both internal and external stakeholders
• Attend and represent the organisation at Court, Evictions, External Meetings, as requested
• Support the Area Manager with ensuring Offices are open in line with contractual obligations and to assist with the provision of, or organisation of, an out-of-hours housing management service
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Driving license and own car desirable, but not essential.
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English (Grades A* - C)
• Experience working in a customer-centred environment and dealing with the public essential
• Demonstrated ability to adapt swiftly to evolving work environments.
• Proficient in navigating complex challenges and responding promptly to deliver effective solutions.
• Intermediate MS Office skills and willingness to learn new systems
• Knowledge of housing law in relation to Assured Shorthold Tenancies desirable
• Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
