The Opportunity:
We are looking to appoint a Clinical Education Fellow (CEF) based in Medical Education / Edinburgh Medical School. This post offers an exciting opportunity for a trainee clinician to develop their skills in teaching and training medical students, and to support the undergraduate MBChB programme to deliver excellent teaching and assessment.
This role will support ethics and professionalism teaching.
These posts will be for one year, with an optional additional year with mutual agreement. The role is suitable for anyone who has completed FY2 training, including Specialty Trainees who are more than 12 months from completing their training.
A strong interest in medical education and experience of teaching in a health care setting are essential.
This post is full-time (40 hours per week). We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
