Are you passionate about creating safe, welcoming spaces and delivering high-quality community services? Join Torus as an
Facilities Manager at the FireFit Youth & Community Hub, where you’ll lead day-to-day operations across our café, gym, and
community areas.
In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll manage facilities, ensuring the Hub runs smoothly, safely, and continues to make a real
impact in the community.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Overseeing day-to-day operations across the FireFit Hub including gym, café, cleaning, caretaking, and facilities.
* Managing health & safety compliance, risk assessments, COSHH, and building inspections.
* Leading the delivery of a safe, high-quality customer experience for all users.
* Driving income generation through bookings, marketing, and commercial use of the site.
* Managing staff rotas, performance, training, and team meetings.
* Maintaining systems for booking, reporting, and compliance to deliver seamless services.
* Deputising for the Centre Manager as needed and helping shape long-term strategy.
* Responding to customer queries professionally, including via social media and online platforms.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in facilities, leisure, or community hub management.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Experience in managing rotas, budgets, and digital booking systems.
* Relevant facilities qualification at Level 4 or relevant experience
* Health & Safety Qualification e.g NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent, or Level 4 Health and Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH)
Interview Process:
* In-person interviews, consisting of a presentation and competency-based questions, will begin no sooner than the week beginning
1st September.
Additional Information:
Each successful applicant will be required to complete the following pre-employment checks prior to a start date being agreed:

* Qualification certificate check
* 2x Completed references
* OH Health Questionnaire – Fit for Work
* DBS check (if required for role)
