Summary
About the role:
• To respond to the Council’s obligations under the various information request regimes of Data Protection, Freedom of Information, and Environmental Information Regulations.
• To support the corporate agenda in the implementation and monitoring of robust governance of information throughout the organisation, and Powys Schools.
About you:
You will be someone who has:
• Experience of information regime practices and procedures, including
an understanding of confidentiality
• The ability to handle complex contact queries, from customers and
internal clients.
• Experience of communicating with the public via different methods and
channels.
• An attention to detail.
• A professional approach to Customers and internal colleagues
• An ability to work under pressure, to statutory time constraints.
What you will do:
Prepare responses and disclosures to information requests.
• Provide advice and guidance to Staff, Schools and the public on data protection and information requests.
• Maintain and extract data from recording systems.
• Advise and respond to breaches of personal data.
