Summary
DC Personnel is recruiting on behalf of our client—a fast-growing, forward-thinking company. They’re looking for a CAD Technician to join their friendly and skilled team.
If you're confident using CAD software and enjoy turning ideas into production-ready drawings, this could be the perfect fit.
Hours: 7:00 - 15:30 (40 hours a week), Monday - Friday
Overtime is time and a quarter X1.25 after 40 hours
Pay Rate: £14 - £16 per hour (To achieve the higher rate you must have 2+ years' experience in the same job role)
This is a temp to perm role
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Creating accurate technical drawings and visuals
• Turning customer artwork and requirements into final production files
• Working closely with different departments to make sure everything runs smoothly
• Helping bring design ideas to life for manufacturing
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience with 2D CAD software
• Great attention to detail
• Able to work independently and solve problems
• Good all-round computer and IT skills
• Comfortable reading engineering drawings
• Experience in signage, manufacturing, or engineering is a plus
• Knowledge of CorelDRAW X7, Adobe Illustrator CS6, or Rhino 3D is helpful—but not essential
• Motivated, creative, and takes pride in quality work
