The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your role will include:

• Working with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning

  
  

• Supporting subject-specific tasks, including experiments, discussions, and project work

  
  

• Helping manage classroom routines and student behaviour

  
  

• Assisting in the preparation of resources and learning materials

  
  

• Encouraging student participation and boosting motivation and confidence

  
  Ideal Candidate

  We’re looking for a graduate who:

  • Holds a 2:1 degree or above in any subject (e.g. English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages)

    
    

  • Has experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, youth work, volunteering)

    
    

  • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills

    
    

  • Is enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about education

    
    

  • Is considering a future in teaching, educational outreach, or related fields
