Your Responsibilities

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students across a range of subjects, primarily at Key Stages 3 and 4


  • Provide 1:1 or small group support to help pupils overcome barriers to learning


  • Assist teaching staff with lesson preparation, classroom management, and resource organisation


  • Help maintain a focused, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment


  • Contribute to the academic and personal development of pupils by promoting confidence, motivation, and resilience


  • Take part in school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities where appropriate


    Who We’re Looking For

    We are looking for a graduate who:

    • Holds a 2:1 degree or above in any subject (Education, English, Psychology, Maths, or Science particularly welcomed)


    • Has experience working with young people in any setting (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, youth work, volunteering)


    • Is enthusiastic, professional, and eager to learn


    • Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills


    • Is considering a career in education, teaching, or a related field
