About the role

The Digital and Creative Media Department is running a recruitment drive to source a motivated, experienced Creative Media personnel who would like to become a Programme Leader, who will take ownership and add their own creativity to their curriculum and ensure that the program is delivered to high standards. This is a fast-paced and diverse role in which you'll be working closely with a supportive team across the Digital and Creative Media Department.

This role can range from planning, delivering and assessing from Level 1 to Level 3 within the BTEC Creative Media Skills qualification awarded by Pearson and as such your duties can range from:

Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
Plan, facilitate and track learner progress effectively.
Manage and support learners in target setting and achieving.
Provide outstanding pastoral and academic support to the learner.
Drive the recruitment for learners for the following academic years and ensure that the curriculum stays up to date with latest industry changes/advancements.


About the person

The ideal candidate will have an experienced background within the Digital and Creative Media field this can be across both all formats of media (such as digital and photography). You must also have experience of delivering a Level 1/3 qualification in either a secondary or further education setting.

The successful should also have the following:

Level 2 Functional Skills or higher in both English and Maths.
Foundation Degree or higher within Digital and Creative Media.
Knowledge with using IT systems and software, including using Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Experience with using Adobe Creative Cloud and other software's.
