Summary
This bright and friendly nursery located in Brixton is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join the likeminded and hardworking team of staff!
Previous experience working with children under 5 in a nursery or childcare setting would be ideal, and (at least) a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare is essential for the suitable Early Years Practitioner.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you play a key role in preparing young children for their future, and it is important to have a real passion for supporting their growth and development in their most formative years. Strong knowledge of EYFS and children's learning and development is desirable too.

Your main responsibilities as an Early Years Practitioner will include:
• Planning and delivering play-based learning activities and exploration, following the EYFS curriculum
• Providing a stimulating, supportive and safe environment that allows children to grow and learn
• Supporting and assisting with early reading, vocabulary, literacy and communication development
• Assisting with the development of early maths skills
• Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and supporting the nursery management team
• Supporting children's personal, social and emotional development from a young age, helping them to develop positive relationships and form/build on their social skills
This is a permanent position for the suitable Early Years Practitioner to work full-time Monday-Friday, to start ASAP. Located in Brixton, this nursery is easily accessed thanks to excellent transport links and free staff parking.
