We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Mechanical Shift Engineer to join our round-the-clock operation. If you're passionate about keeping critical environments running smoothly — and thrive in a hands-on, team-focused setting — this is the role for you.

What you’ll be doing
- Routine PPM & reactive maintenance across mechanical systems
- Maintaining pumps, motors, bearings, AHUs, FCUs
- Basic plumbing repairs – replacing taps, valves, washers etc.
- Basic electrical tasks – e.g. lamp replacements
- Monitor and adjust BMS (Building Management Systems)
- Water treatment tasks – temperature checks, flushing (no dosing)
- Liaise with and escort sub-contractors
- Complete accurate records and reports
- Keep a close eye on plant performance and system reliability
What we’re looking for
- Level 2 & 3 Mechanical qualification (C&G / NVQ or equivalent)
- Strong background in commercial building maintenance
- Confident with both mechanical and basic electrical/fabric work
- Good communicator with a professional, customer-friendly approach
- Able to commute for a 07:00 AM shift start in Whitechapel
