UHI Perth is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.

We are currently looking for a Lecturer Hospitality (Chef Lecturer) on a fixed term basis to complement our existing team. This role is mainly to teach the HNC Professional Cookery class on their practical units, which includes overseeing the kitchen service in our training restaurant, Treetops, during the academic year. When there is no service in the restaurant you will be teaching skills and theory to the class related to their units over the rest of the academic year.

The successful applicant will also teach across our curriculum when cover is required, from Schools’ Programmes to Further Education and Degree level, and when new programmes are developed.

It is also important to have a flexible, proactive and versatile approach which will enable you to teach across the range of our programmes.

The successful candidate will be educated to at least HND level with recent teaching or training experience with learners, delivering at a high success rate.
