Electrical Maintenance Technician
Bishopbriggs, Glasgow
£50,000 + Overtime + Excellent Benefits
4 on 4 off – Days Only (05:00 to 17:00)
We are working with our client, an established and growing manufacturer based in Glasgow to seek an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a business that values innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Electrical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for keeping production equipment running smoothly through safe and efficient fault finding, repairs, and preventative maintenance. You’ll work with a wide range of equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic systems.
What You’ll Need
*18th Edition JIB-qualified (essential)
*Strong electrical maintenance background in manufacturing
*PLC fault finding skills (Allen Bradley experience preferred)
*Ability to diagnose faults using industry-standard test equipment
*Familiar with PPM routines and improvement processes
*Solid understanding of EHS standards
*Team player with attention to detail
*Good communication skills and computer literacy
