Radis Community Care are looking for a Part Time Support worker to join Radis team at Cullum Road, IP33 3PB.

Cullum Road has 32 one and two-bedroom apartments for older people wanting to retain an independent lifestyle, while having the reassurance of a familiar and dedicated care team on site

This will be a mix of morning and late shifts, alternative weekends, plus sickness and annual leave cover. 20+ hours per week.

At this present time, we are unable to consider Sponsorship for this role.

About the role

As a Support Worker in our Extra Care Scheme, your primary responsibility is to assist elderly individuals who are experiencing physical frailty, helping them maintain as much independence as possible. This includes supporting people we support with restricted mobility by aiding them in moving safely to dining areas for meals, communal spaces for social engagement, and back to the privacy of their own rooms when requested.

The role will require you to assist people we support with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with people, both individually and as a group.

The core aim of this role is to promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect, consistently delivering care to the highest standard.
