About the Company

Our client is a privately owned UK & Irish main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering luxury residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects across London, typically valued between £10M and £50M. Their pipeline includes exclusive high-end developments overlooking the Thames, making this a unique opportunity to work on truly prestigious schemes.

The Role

As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will oversee the commercial management of a flagship development in St Katharine Docks, managing costs from pre-construction through to final account. You'll work closely with the Senior QS and Project Manager to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial management of a £15M-£30M central London project
  • Handle procurement and negotiation of subcontractor packages
  • Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Produce monthly CVRs, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts
  • Work closely with the project team to maintain financial control and maximise profit
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and consultants

About You:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on main contractor projects £10M+
  • Excellent knowledge of JCT contracts and UK construction processes
  • Experience with high-end residential or mixed-use London developments is ideal
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills with attention to detail
  • Ambitious and motivated, keen to progress within a successful contractor
