The Role
We are looking for a Business Support Officer to support the work of the Greater Manchester Adult Social Care Transformation programme team based within NHS Greater Manchester.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the team, supporting transformation to enable better outcomes and better lives for people across Greater Manchester. The role offers opportunities for personal and professional development and a chance for someone to bring their own skills, knowledge and experiences to contribute to transformation across adult social care in Greater Manchester, within a fast-moving, demanding and ever-changing environment.
You will provide PA support to the Director of Adult Social Care, and be responsible for administration and secretarial functions, supporting the team with the management of projects, including but not limited to finance, business continuity, workforce, communications, and engagement.
This post will be employed by Tameside Council and seconded to NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care.
About You
We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic individual with great interpersonal skills and the capacity to forge excellent relationships and effective multi-agency working. You will be passionate and have a drive to ensuring the work you undertake is completed to a high standard.
You will be driven to work effectively to support the team functions alongside your peers.
You will have good organisational skills. You will be positive about change and have experience of supporting innovation and culture change, to drive improvements across adult social care in Greater Manchester. You will have experience of overcoming barriers to deliver successful outcomes. You must be capable of working on your own initiative to help drive and enable improved outcomes.
The post is a minimum one day office based per week, and the remainder hybrid working.
