We’re looking for a Health and Safety Coordinator to support our Site Delivery Teams at Sizewell C. This is a dynamic role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth operations and compliance across the site. About the RoleAs a Health and Safety Coordinator, you’ll provide essential administrative and team support services, including collating and maintaining data, records, action trackers, support the Site Operations project team to deliver health and safety initiatives and raise awareness, supporting teams in the collation of documentation for incident Investigation. You’ll also help ensure compliance with safety, security, and environmental procedures. This role reports to the Senior Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager for SZC Site Operations. Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver accurate, professional and reliable administrative support to the department.Manage diaries, itineraries, contact lists, and documentation.Prepare reports, presentations, and maintain data trackers.Support health and safety initiatives and incident investigations and raise awareness.Liaise with reception and escort visitors to ensure site security compliance.Coordinate meetings, travel, accommodation, and hospitality.Review contractor health and safety documentation.Assist in organising campaigns, meetings, and wellbeing initiatives.Support teams in the collation of documentation for incident Investigations.Maintain confidentiality and respond to external enquiries professionally.Review contractor HSE documentation for adequacy and complianceSupport campaigns, meetings, and initiatives as directed by HSW ManagerMaintain confidentiality at all timesStay in contact with off-site team members and follow up on actionsHandle phone and email enquiries from external contactsPrepare and format letters, documents, and reports professionally What We’re Looking ForEssential Skills & ExperienceStrong organisational and multitasking abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Previous experience in team support roles.High attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong general administrative skills with attention to professional output.Ability to adapt to new systems and processes, including developing new ones if needed.DesirableExperience in the construction industry.Previous Health and Safety role experience.Formal health and safety qualifications.A full job description is available upon application.
