Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a well-regarded primary school in the NG23 area to appoint a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant from September 2025. The school, praised by Ofsted for its inclusive ethos and supportive leadership, is looking for a warm and proactive individual to join their Early Years team on a full-time basis.

You'll be based in a Reception or Nursery class, helping to create a safe, engaging, and inspiring space where children feel confident and supported. This is a long-term opportunity with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to the class teacher and pupils within EYFS
- Deliver targeted 1:1 or small group interventions focused on early literacy, numeracy, and communication
- Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and emotional wellbeing
- Contribute to a fun, play-based learning environment in line with the EYFS curriculum

We're Looking For:
- A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (Supporting Teaching & Learning or Childcare)
- Experience working within an Early Years setting - school or nursery-based
- A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
- A kind, calm, and consistent approach with a genuine love for early years education
