We're looking for a Planner to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks - South West Water Team based in Exeter.

Location: Exeter

Contract: Permanent - Full Time

Our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks division brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected. In this role, you will be working on our Southwest Water contract, where we work on repairs and maintenance services to provide reliable, efficient, and high-quality drinking water and wastewater services.



What will you be responsible for?

As a planner, you'll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks - South West Water Team, supporting them in delivering repair and maintenance, renovation and new mains installations for the potable and wastewater network, along with new build assets, mechanical, electrical and capital works schemes.

What will your day to day look like in the role?

Your day to day will include:

-Planning and scheduling daily activities for field teams in coordination with supervisors

-Reviewing and updating completed task data to ensure accuracy in work orders and permit statuses

-Managing the shared mailbox and preparing reinstatement tasks in advance of scheduling

-Generating daily reports via Power BI and updating key stakeholders, including the Streetworks team

-Handling operational calls and providing timely support to field teams and depot staff



What are we looking for?

This role of Planner is great for you if:

-You have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

-You're proficient in Microsoft Office and Power BI, with experience using scheduling tools being a plus

-You're an effective communicator who can confidently liaise across teams in a fast-paced, adaptable environment
