About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a successful and dynamic secondary school in Bradford, starting full-time from September 2025. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering tailored support to students across a range of ages and abilities, helping them engage with learning and succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Key Requirements:- Minimum of Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Empathy and emotional intelligence
- Excellent listening and communication

- Adaptability to different learning needs
- Organisation and time management
- Behaviour management strategies
Responsibilities:
- Support teaching staff in delivering effective lessons
- Work one-to-one or in small groups with students requiring extra help
- Help manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies
- Support pupils with additional learning needs or EHCPs
- Encourage positive attitudes and engagement in lessons
- Prepare and adapt learning resources as directed
- Monitor and record pupils' progress and provide feedback to teachers
- Assist students with homework or study tasks
- Implement agreed learning activities under guidance
- Support literacy and numeracy interventions
