We are looking for someone to join our exciting fun and outstanding staff team here at our Preschool working in a small family team environment, here’s a little about our preschool.
Eastern Green Preschool is a charity run non -profit Committee run preschool it has been running for over 20 years offering outstanding childcare for the wider community and families. We have been Ofsted registered since 2004, and our staff team have maintained outstanding Ofsted since 2015
You will be expected to continue to work with the ethos of the preschool and have a very flexible approach to your position, offering outstanding care and education to the children alongside managing our staff team, you will be employed by the committee of Eastern Green Preschool Playgroup who will continue to work alongside you together making some of the decisions for the future of the preschool, staff, and children.
Job Role: Following the Early years foundation Statutory framework 2025 Care and education of the children
• Providing an outstanding inclusive provision for children and their families to learn and develop, using your knowledge of the Early year’s foundation stage, Birth to 5 matters and Development matters.
• Key worker for a group of children and their families.
• DSL/Safeguarding Staff, children, and their families.
• Follow the statutory EYFS requirements set out in the Early year’s statutory framework 2024.
• Follow the SEND code of practice. SEND co ordinator supporting the Manager.
• Manage the staff team in the absence of the Manager, providing a safe inclusive environment for staff to work.
• Working alongside the Manager overseeing the day to day running of the Preschool.
• Staff meetings overlooking the EYFS Key workers planning and implementation.
• Completing risk assessments. Carrying out small daily maintenance repairs following on from a risk assessment found.
• Input into all Policies and procedures, shared with staff and parents.
• Attend and organise meetings and training when necessary.
