Summary
The Construction and Engineering Department at Coleg Meirion Dwyfor is a forward-thinking department offering courses in a range of disciplines. Teaching and learning take place with access to industry standard equipment and in modern facilities.
The position of the Construction Technician is an integral position in the Construction Department, in the five areas - Brickwork, Plastering, Plumbing, Site Carpentry and Bench Joinery. They will work closely with the lecture staff to ensure that materials and equipment are maintained and available for practical sessions with groups of learners. They will also be responsible for making sure that the Department's equipment is properly maintained, and after training, doing PAT tests on the electrical equipment.
