Landmarc Support Services is on the lookout for an exceptional Maintenance Manager to lead Hard FM operations based at Okehampton Camp and surrounding locations. If you're passionate about delivering top-tier estate maintenance and empowering a skilled team, this could be your next big move.
This is a regional role and you will on occasion be required to travel between sites within the South West Region to ensure that the Training Estate Facilities are safe and fit for purpose.
Main Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a team of maintenance technicians across built and rural estates; providing technical guidance and support, and drawing on wider internal and external resources for specialist activities.
- Schedule and oversee preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
- Manage contractors, ensure timely completion of works, and uphold quality standards.
- Ensure all tasks comply with CDM, Building Regulations, and Health & Safety standards.
- Monitor Key Performance Indicators and drive performance across multiple sites.
- Tackle issues fast to keep training facilities safe and fit for purpose.
The Ideal Candidate
The Ideal Candidate will have substantial experience managing estates that include a diverse range of buildings, services and infrastructure. This should include expertise in:
- Electrical and Mechanical Systems
- Building Fabric Maintenance
- Asbestos and Legionella Management
Solid knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations, including COSHH and IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent).
Proven experience in workload scheduling and managing performance, with a strong understanding of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) driven environments.
Competence in using CAFM systems (ideally Maximo or similar AMS software)to monitor maintenance, compliance and performance.
Strong focus on continuous improvement, with ability to enhance processes and team efficiency.
Confident in managing budgets, interpreting technical specifications, and compliance documentation in line with regulatory standards.
Willingness to travel between sites and support on-call duties as required.
Proficient ability in using IT Systems to manage Workflows, Asset Registers and Compliance Tracking.
Confident in coordinating daily workload distribution, monitoring labour usage and managing financial performance.
A full valid UK driving licence is essential.
