Summary

Wraparound Care Lead (Term Time Only)

Location: Horsmonden Primary Academy, Tonbridge, TN12 8NJ

Salary: £12.50 - £13.50 per hour

Contract Type: Part-Time, Term-Time Only

Hours: 25 hours per week (mornings & afternoons, Monday–Friday)

Start Date: September 2025 (subject to pre-employment checks)

Lead with Purpose – Support Children Beyond the Classroom

We are looking for a Site Lead to manage our Breakfast and After-school clubs, creating a safe, welcoming environment where children can play, relax and thrive outside of the school day.

Whether you’re a qualified childcare professional returning to work or already working in education and looking to grow into a leadership role – we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operation of Breakfast and After School Club sessions
Plan and lead a variety of age-appropriate, stimulating activities for children aged 4–11
Supervise and support team members on site
Foster strong relationships with children, families, and school staff
Maintain a safe environment and ensure full compliance with safeguarding and regulatory standards

Candidate Requirements:

A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare, Playwork, or a related discipline
Experience working with primary school-aged children
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity
A thorough understanding of safeguarding principles and procedures
A valid Paediatric First Aid certificate is desirable but not essential
