Great Billing

We are innovative.
That’s why we need people like you—people who enjoy solving problems, finding smarter ways of working, and delivering great results.

As a Delivery Agent/Supervisor, you’ll play a vital part in the day-to-day delivery of our mainlaying programmes as part of the Anglian Water Alliance. This role involves coordinating with engineers, highways authorities and developers to plan and manage field resources, while ensuring health and safety standards are met and all work is delivered efficiently and in line with CDM and temporary works requirements.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…

  • Coordinate with design teams to apply principles of prevention from the outset of each scheme
  • Maintain high standards of water hygiene in line with POSWSH requirements
  • Prepare essential CDM documentation, including construction phase plans, risk assessments and method statements
  • Supervise site activities and carry out audits for health, safety and quality compliance
  • Promote a proactive safety culture, supporting near miss reporting and learning across the team
  • Liaise with developers and ensure their expectations are clearly understood and met
  • Manage third-party interactions to reduce disruption and maintain effective delivery
  • Support a right-first-time approach to minimise customer contacts and improve satisfaction
  • Attend commercial meetings and contribute to performance, cost and improvement discussions

We would love to hear from you if…

We’re looking for someone with a good understanding of water mains construction and the regulations around water quality. You should have a strong commitment to health and safety compliance, as well as experience leading or supervising field teams.

You’ll need to hold a NRSWA Supervisor accreditation, and ideally have completed SSSTS/SMSTS or IOSH training. Temporary Works Supervisor training and a solid awareness of CDM regulations would be an advantage. Strong communication and organisational skills will also be key, as you’ll be working closely with a range of stakeholders across multiple sites.
