Summary

Support JSM in maximising the best use of clinical/non clinical resources.Ensure any issues relating to training are resolved.Generate reports relating to Cerner at the request of the division.Monitor indicators for the division and take action to clear the backlog. Communicate with clinical/non-clinical staff with regards to CERNER issues.Provide support to JSM's for the maintenance of the junior doctor rota.Submit shifts for bank staff onto Patchwork.Ensure all enquiries are dealt with in a timely, polite, professional and confidential manner,taking action or escalating as appropriate,using initiative and prioritising skills. Proactively manage patient pathways so that all patients receive a high standard of service delivery. Use initiative when dealing with patients problems or when dealing with managers and consultants who may request patient information. Support in new staff induction. Organising ID, Training access etc. Suggest improvements to systems, with ways of measuring effectiveness of any changes made. Collect data to measure performance of department against objectives. Participate in regular team meetings and other relevant meetings eg Patient Access with preparation of Access pack. Organise and prioritise workload with minimal supervision. Liaise with other departments and teams relating to the patient care pathway and service delivery. Assist JSM in performing all clinic configurations on CERNER, including cancelling and amending clinics for annual leave etc
