Summary
Are you passionate about supporting young babies and children in their earliest stages of development? If yes, then this could be the perfect role for you.
Due to the expansion of the government funding for Early Years from September, we are now in a position where we are looking for a caring, motivated, and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our warm and welcoming team in a nurturing home from home early years setting.
About the Role: As an Early Years Practitioner, you will:
* Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5.
* Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
* Work closely with colleagues and parents to support children’s learning and development.
* Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds a minimum Level 2 (ideally Level 3) Early Years qualification.
* On the DBS update service.
* Paediatric First Aid Trained or be willing to undertake training to be compliant with the EYFS Statutory Framework
* Has a sound understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
* Is reliable, proactive, and works well in a team.
* Builds strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
