With nearly 25 years of experience, our Bathgate location in Scotland, UK is an integral part of Catalent’s European clinical supply services network. This 141,000 sq. ft. facility has a comprehensive range of capabilities to support sponsors’ studies throughout the UK, Europe and beyond, including clinical supply management, FastChain® demand-led supply, clinical-scale commercial packaging, and QP release services.
The Role
As Continuous Improvement Leader, you will:
Identify improvement opportunities by observing operations (GEMBA), analyzing metrics, and gathering customer feedback.
Prioritize and lead Lean Six Sigma projects that drive measurable improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
Facilitate and support cross-functional Operational Excellence initiatives.
Coach and engage teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Guide process owners through the full PDCA lifecycle, ensuring sustainability of improvements.
Design and deliver tailored Lean Six Sigma training across the site.
The Candidate:
Degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Science, Engineering, Management).
Proven experience in a Continuous Improvement leadership role.
Experience working in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
Minimum Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (Black Belt preferred).
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using various computer systems and tools.
Flexibility to work varied hours and support overtime when needed.
A “right first time” mindset with a passion for quality and efficiency.
Experience delivering CI training and coaching across multiple levels.
