Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate Care Support Workers to provide essential support to adults with a learning disability. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for those they care for, ensuring their well-being and comfort at all times.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals under your care
- Administer medication as prescribed and assist with medical appointments
- Prepare and serve meals tailored to residents' dietary requirements
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organised living space for residents
Skills
- Experience is not a prerequisite as full training is provided including medication administration although experience would be an advantage
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary (hoisting)
- A valid driver's licence is advantageous for transporting residents when needed
