Summary
A little bit about the Planned Works team
We're responsible for delivering improvement and cyclical works across the entire operational area of Abri Group including Hampshire, Berkshire, West Sussex, Dorset & Wiltshire areas. Utilising both in-house teams and approved sub-contractors, we carry out the major improvement works to our customers’ homes ranging from kitchen renewals and bathroom replacements right through to roof replacement and insulation.

Are you someone who’s pro-active, highly motivated, professional, and friendly? If so, we’ve got a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team as a Floor Layer! You’ll be working across Yeovil and surrounding area, bringing your skills to a range of properties.
In this role, you’ll be preparing and fitting vinyl flooring in wet rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. Your work will involve accurately measuring and preparing floors using latex or plywood, then fitting vinyl sheet flooring, safety flooring, or vinyl tiles to a high standard. You’ll also carry out minor repairs on different types of floor coverings, making sure any potential hazards are dealt with so our customers can feel safe in their homes.
You won’t be working alone – we’re all about teamwork here, so you’ll be collaborating with your colleagues whenever needed to ensure our customers always receive the best service. We’ll provide you with your uniform, a van and PPE you need to let you crack on with what you do best. You’ll also take responsibility for delivering various types of floor coverings as part of our kitchen and bathroom programmes.
