Summary
A wonderful opportunity has arisen in our fantastic, homely Nursery. We are looking for a well-motivated, enthusiastic practitioner to join our dynamic team for Maternity Cover as a Pre-School Room Leader in our 3-5 year old (Tigers Room).
The ideal candidate would have Early Years Teacher Status or QTS.
You will be supervising other members of staff and have full responsibility for the Pre-School following EYFS guidelines.
Excellent organisational skills and communication skills are essential along with experience of delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). A Knowledge of online learning Journal (useful but not essential)
Examples of tasks required for the role:
Keep up-to-date records of each child:-
Medical
Record all development on Tapestry daily. Evaluate and record all implemented activities and observe child interests and organise activities accordingly.
Handovers to parents to include: what the child has eaten, daily activities, personalised
Complete all forms when a support needs child has been identified, ie. Play plans etc with SENCO Co-ordinator
Mandatory – All Room Leaders must make sure that all children are logged in/out on register for fire regulations
Support in implementation and development of Early Years Foundation Stage
Normal shift : 08:00-18:00 Mon-Fri (1 hour lunch break) 45hr working week
