We have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Officer and Local RPS to join the AMRC to make an impact through safety coordination.
Working in the HSE team and alongside the project delivery team, based on site at Rotherham, you will have the opportunity to develop your own skills as well as steer best practice initiatives.
With responsibility for day to day health and safety delivery, you will add substantial benefit to the operations and H&S team through your knowledge and experience. Other key aspects of the role will include providing technical support to AMRC staff, leading a positive safety culture, and helping to develop new and exciting ways of improving safety at a local level.
Our ambition is to mould a safety environment our customers seek to learn from and work with. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for helping sustain our legal compliance, as well as driving and steering continuous improvement.
We are seeking candidates with NEBOSH diploma / grade 6 or above, or with strong H&S experience. You should also have experience of performing site inspections and working knowledge of ISO 45001:2018 would be beneficial.
