Summary
Salary: £40,777 - £47,181 pro rata
This is a permanent, term time only role. This position is part time and the ideal candidate will work a minimum of 3 hours per week.
Rochdale Music Service is growing! We are looking to appoint a part time cello tutor. We are offering a minimum of 3 hours teaching per week during term time. We expect that the hours will grow as we will fund the tutor appointed to develop lower string work across the Borough by giving demonstrations of the cello and talking to children in schools
You will need to be able to play to grade 8 standard as a minimum and be willing to work both in schools and in our Music Centre based in the centre of Rochdale.
Preference will be given to those who can also teach double bass.
This post will involve some evening and weekend work and the postholder will be required to travel to different venues.
