About the RoleYou’ll be responsible for managing our existing product portfolio while developing new products that align with business objectives, including:

Meeting price point and margin targets

Designing for efficient manufacturing

Ensuring strong brand alignment
-
Defining accurate labour and material structures
-
Driving value engineering initiatives
-
Meeting all relevant product testing and accreditation standards

Delivering products that perform well and meet customer expectations
As Product Development Engineer, your role will include:

Reducing product complexity and optimising SKU variety
-
Producing samples and prototypes for:
-
New product launches
-
Cost-saving/value engineering projects
-
Product enhancements and innovations
-
Sales campaigns and exhibitions
-

Maintaining accurate product specifications and engineering documentation
-
Improving product performance with new materials and manufacturing methods
-
Managing testing processes (e.g., FR, durability) ahead of launches
-
Overseeing tick control and maintaining agreed documentation standards
-
Updating and controlling revision-level documentation
