This role is term-time only, 25.9 hours per week, working 39 weeks per year.
Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.
Day to day duties of the role
* Work in partnership with faculty teams to design, plan and deliver responsive and flexible academic development and transition programmes to prepare learners for higher levels of study and/or continuation of learning.
* Track, monitor and report on learner attendance and progress.
* Promote and deliver a portfolio of individual support services that contribute toward organisational performance indicators, including retention, continuation and progression.
* Maintain communication with faculty teams to respond to learning support needs and provide timely interventions.
Required skills and qualifications
* Experience in planning and delivering structured sessions to groups of learners.
* Experience in providing one-to-one learner support.
* Good level of technical ability and competent user of technology.
* Skills in managing classrooms and expectations of learners.
