Are you passionate about food and customer service? Join our vibrant catering team at Yeo Valley Primary School in Barnstaple, part of Cornerstone Academy Trust, and make a difference in our school community. We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to help deliver high-quality meals and create a welcoming dining experience for our pupils and staff.
Your Role
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
Support the catering team in daily operations and special events.
Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors.
What You’ll Bring
A positive, team-oriented attitude.
Experience in a catering or food service role (preferred but not essential).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
What We Offer
Salary: £13.69 per hour including holiday allowance
Hours: 10am to 3pm Monday to Friday in term time
