Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to oversee our client's service department and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, and a solid understanding of mechanical systems. Duties

  • Manage daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

  • Train and mentor staff on best practices in customer interaction, upselling techniques, and cash handling procedures.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Maintain accurate records of service transactions, including cash handling and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall service offerings and improve customer experience.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the service area.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to implement innovative solutions within the department.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a service environment is essential.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on building lasting relationships with clients.
  • Experience in upselling products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue.
  • Proficient in cash handling procedures with a keen eye for detail.
  • Mechanical knowledge is highly desirable to assist in troubleshooting and guiding staff effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead a team effectively.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
