Summary
Duties in accordance with the rules and traditions of the Hindu Swaminarayan Sect will include the daily rituals of the installed Deities at the Temple. This will involve waking up and tending to the Deities and carrying out their daily rituals such as Pooja, dressing of the Deities and preparing Thaal offerings (meals). Applicants must be trained and able to perform morning and evening Aarti and should also be well-versed in reciting relevant verses and mantras from the Swaminarayan Scriptures whilst carrying out these duties and poojas of the deities.
