Summary
BSc Radiography or D.C.R.(R). , HCPC. REGISTERED Evidence of continuous and current professional, leadership and academic development relevant to Radiology services. Evidence of CPD through maintenance of a portfolio Significant post graduate experience at a Senior Radiographer level Experience of complex clinical situations. Experience of participating in clinical audit and quality assurance programmes Evidence of managing resources, staff and equipment Experience of PACS and RIS Experience of QA requirements within CR/PACS/RIS. An understanding of Clinical Governance and evidence based practice Knowledge of radiation safety regulations and relevant protocols Evidence of keeping informed of current techniques and practices. Knowledge and awareness of Incident Reporting systems and their importance Knowledge of appraisal/staff development programmes Awareness of current QA issues Evidence of a high standard of radiography for others to follow. Evidence of leadership and of organisational skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others Ability to work accurately and calmly and carry out concurrent activities Ability to act diplomatically in sensitive situations involving patients or staff Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Experience of working with PACS and Radiology Information Systems Ability to comprehend and work within the Trust’s policies of data protection, equal opportunities and health and safety.
