You will be able to find a full Job description and Person Specification attached within the supporting documents or please click "Apply now" to view in Trac The post holder will work with the to deliver effective leadership and management of the Managed GP Practice including delivery of patient services, management of the staff and buildings and delivery within agreed budget. The post holder will ensure patient services are provided in a safe and sustainable way by appropriately trained and supported clinicians, this will include the commissioning of locums where required. The post holder will ensure the team works together to deliver services and develop improved ways of working and will facilitate and run effective Practice and Staff Meetings to support this. The post holder will ensure full and effective communication with the Health Board, following all appropriate policies and procedures. The post holder will assure the Health Board that services are safe through regular audit and significant event meetings, including the invitation of appropriate consultants or health professionals The post holder will support the delivery of the NCN and ensure the principles are actively embedded within the Practice Team. Review the delivery of services provided by the Managed Practice and facilitate development of new models of service to maximise efficiency of services for patients and staff based on evidence of good practice. Works with external agencies, third sector and primary care in collaborative schemes to deliver service development and improvement sharing best practice. Support the development of models to modernise structures that support new ways of working and service development and improvement based on best practice. Practice Lead in supporting the delivery of GMS contract, QOF and Enhanced Services requirements, including completion of the annual audits and other requirements therein. Manage the delivery of practice improvements ensuring clinical engagement where required.
