Summary
Self employed, Community Interpreter with a minimum of Level 3 required to facilitate communication between individuals who speak different languages, primarily within community settings like healthcare, social services, and education. High levels of proficiency in both the source and target languages are essential.
This role requires strong bilingual skills, an understanding of interpreting ethics and procedures, and the ability to work effectively in diverse environments. We are looking for professionals that understand the importance of ongoing learning and development to stay current with best practices and new terminology.
The role is primarily face to face in Surrey and surrounding areas with occasional remote opportunities.
Annual safeguarding training is compulsory for this role.
