Summary
As our RPC Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in shaping and delivering our local strategy to reduce the impact of parental conflict. You’ll work across services and sectors—bringing together professionals from health, education, social care, the police, and the voluntary sector—to ensure a joined-up, evidence-based approach to supporting families.
A key part of your role will be planning and delivering training for multi-agency staff, including specialist sessions on Children Affected by Parental Imprisonment (CAPO). You’ll also lead and support Champions groups, helping embed both RPC and CAPO awareness and practice across North Somerset.
You’ll be a trusted source of guidance for practitioners, offering support and tools to help them work confidently with families experiencing conflict. You’ll also deliver evidence-based parenting programmes for separated parents, helping them build healthier co-parenting relationships.
Monitoring and evaluation will be part of your day-to-day, ensuring that the work is making a measurable difference—and that we’re always learning and improving. If you’re someone who thrives on collaboration, believes in the power of early intervention, and wants to be part of a team that puts children and families at the heart of everything, we’d love to hear from you.
