West Yorkshire Police are looking to appoint a Researcher in the District Intelligence Unit at Calderdale. The vacancy is for a Researcher.

We need you to be highly motivated and provide an efficient and concise research capability to meet the needs of the Force/ District/Department.

This will include identifying and using the most appropriate systems, products and techniques to support operational staff and enable informed operational decisions on a live-time basis.

This opportunity would suit a candidate with proven experience gained within an intelligence environment and/or experience of research, as well as a good working knowledge of computerised databases.

You will be required to travel for business purposes and work at any location within the Force, potentially at short notice if the operational requirement dictates.

The successful candidates will be subject to personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment.
