Summary
CLINICAL / OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES To assist in the assessment of service-users. Assisting in the running of psychoeducation groups To assist in the formulation and delivery of psychological interventions and care plans, under the supervision of a qualified professional. To attend and contribute to relevant multi-professional meetings. POLICY, SERVICE, ORGANISATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES To assist in the design and implementation of research, audit, and service development projects. To inform evidence-based practice through literature searches and the critical analysis of research. To help design, develop, and implement systems for recording clinical activity and outcomes. To undertake data collection and analysis. To produce reports and summaries using databases and statistical programmes as required. To receive supervision for all work undertaken. To participate in an agreed programme of training and professional development to develop clinical knowledge and professional practice. To contribute to the training and support of other staff in psychological care. GENERAL All staff are responsible for continual compliance with CQC standards and outcomes. The post-holder must be aware of, and work in line with, the Trusts Safeguarding Adults and Children procedures. The post-holder must be aware of, and work in line with, the Personality Disorder Service policies and procedures.
