Summary
The Job purpose is: To carry out a range of technical and clerical tasks, including - Dispensing, labelling, packing and QC of radiopharmaceuticals - Cleaning of the Radiopharmacy suite, including specialist equipment - Monitoring of the environment using physical and microbiological methods - Contributing to the Radiopharmacy Quality Assurance system to ensure the smooth running of the Radiopharmacy. - Support for Nuclear Medicine Therapy - The Post Holder will be required: - To use a range of radiopharmacy equipment safely and carry out all activities in accordance with the unit's standard operating procedures. - To comply with Ionising Radiation Regulation 2017 (IRR17), Quality assurance of Aseptic Preparation Services (QAAPS) and Environmental Permitting Regulation 2016 (EPR) - To be designated a Radiation Classified Worker.
