Contract: Full Time Salary: £12.21 Per Hour Shift Type: Days Contracted hours: 40.25

Willowbrook is a 75-bed care home providing specialist support for residents living with dementia and complex mental health conditions.

We are looking for a creative, confident, and enthusiastic Activities Lead with previous experience to take the lead in designing and delivering a meaningful and engaging activities programme. This role is key to enhancing the quality of life for our residents, supporting them to remain active, social, and fulfilled. Weekend availability is essential.

What We Offer

  • £12.21 per hour
  • Contracted to 40.25 hours per week
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)

What You Will Do
You will work closely with the Home Manager to plan and deliver a diverse and stimulating range of group and individual activities tailored to the needs and interests of our residents. From arts and crafts to music sessions, reminiscence activities, and social events, you will play a vital role in encouraging participation, boosting wellbeing, and creating a vibrant community within the home. You will also maintain clear records of activities and outcomes, and support residents in pursuing personal interests and goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in planning and delivering activities or events, ideally in a care or community setting
  • Creative, engaging, and confident with excellent communication skills
  • Genuine passion for working with older people and supporting mental wellbeing
  • Ability to work independently, bring fresh ideas, and motivate others
  • Strong organisational skills with a proactive approach
  • Willingness to work weekends as part of your rota
