Randstad Education is excited to be recruiting a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a progressive and inclusive school in Manchester. This long-term, full-time role offers a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with a variety of special educational needs in a rewarding and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Experience working in SEN schools or with SEN pupils within the UK curriculum
- Full eligibility to work in the UK
- PGCE or PGCE (FE)
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Minimum of 6 month's teaching experience in UK schools
- Must have full "Right To Work" in the UK (no sponsorship available)
- Plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons to students with a range of special educational needs
- Monitor, assess, and respond to student progress and needs
- Work collaboratively with SENCOs, teaching assistants, and external specialists
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes independence
- Develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student
- Passionate about inclusive education and SEN support
- Patient, adaptable, and resilient
- A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Committed to student welfare and educational progress
