About the role:
justteachers are currently seeking a Maths Teacher to join a welcoming and forward thinking secondary school within the Boston area. This is a full-time position starting in September, offered on a long-term supply basis, with the potential for extension.
The school is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment that encourages academic success and personal development, and is well regarded for its strong leadership and inclusive ethos.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic Maths department and will play a vital role in planning and delivering lessons to students across KS3 and KS4. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to contribute to a school with a strong sense of community and a commitment to excellence.
Key responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
• Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to support student progress
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and track student achievement and provide timely feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to support school and departmental goals
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
The ideal candidate:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
• Strong subject knowledge and effective teaching strategies
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Two education or school-based references
