Summary
A well-established independent brick manufacturer based in Sandy, Bedfordshire is expanding! We're looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our busy Production Team in a varied, hands-on role.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Setting and maintaining machinery
• Making and setting up jigs
• Cutting bricks to shape using bench saws
• Bonding and refacing bricks to create bespoke ‘specials’
• Finishing bricks to a high standard
• Performing quality control checks
• Packaging and labelling products for dispatch
• Completing daily safety checks
• Forklift operations (training and certification provided)
What We’re Looking For:
We're seeking someone who is:
• Reliable, flexible, and proactive
• Focussed with excellent attention to detail
• Keen to learn and take pride in high-quality work
• Health & Safety conscious
• Able to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Desirable (but not essential):
• Basic Maths and English
• Basic computer skills
• Previous manual or production experience
