Summary
Work closely with the General Practitioners and Advanced Nurse Practitioners in early senior assessment, instigating investigations when required at the earliest opportunity to help with flow Act as role model for the Nursing and Health Care Assistant team Recognise the deteriorating patient and respond in emergency situations Assist with general nursing duties such as venepuncture, ECG and urine dipstick Ensure infection control standards are upheld and act as a champion Ensure that stock and medications are monitored and available Ensure clinical equipment is clean and working Act as patient advocate, providing information and advice and chaperoning patients when required
