About the people and their home
At Glencourt, there are a mix of characters and personalities, loud and quiet, shy and cheeky! We have both verbal and non-verbal here, which makes it an interesting mix.
We are all foodies at Glencourt and love nothing more than a takeaway, pub lunch or a simple visit to the local café. We also enjoy picnics. These could be in the beautiful garden surrounding our home or on the bank of the local castle. We enjoy trips out shopping, day trips to the beach and walks in our local community. We enjoy spending time in our in-house sensory room where we have a range of activities we can choose from like arts and crafts, musical instruments and games.
Glencourt is a fun, vibrant, sometimes loud but very enjoyable place to work!
We need support with personal care, administering medication, attending appointments, meal preparations and daily chores to keep our home tidy including washing our laundry!
We also need support when accessing the community and with our finances if we wish or need to purchase something.
Here at Glencourt staff support us in all aspects of our care whilst also promoting our independence.
About you
Although it would be beneficial to have some experience of healthcare work, it isn’t absolutely necessary as we provide full training. As long as you’re passionate, hard-working and empathetic, you’ll fit right in.
Join the team today and begin sharing moments and shaping lives.
